In Year 3 in Geography, we have been doing our UK study identifying geographical patterns. 

Previously, we looked at different physical and human landmarks from around the UK.

This week, we examined maps of the UK and learned how to read it to decipher the different topographical features. In groups we identified and labelled our maps. Then we compared different areas of the UK and described the topographical differences.

We had to use our knowledge of compasses to find the correct region and describe it using geographical language.
