Did you know that germination is when a seed starts to grow?

In year 2, we sequenced the process of germination, looking at the growing process of a bean before we plant our own beans next week!

We were fascinated to learn that roots grow downwards, and that a seed is a source of energy. We also came up with action to help us memorise the process of a plant growing.
