St. George's Day in Reception

Kahlo Class have really enjoyed learning about our Patron Saint, St. George, this week!

In Expressive Arts and Design, we have been super busy using a range of materials and techniques to create dragons, castles, shields and masks. We have particularly enjoyed using junk modelling materials and have persisted with finding ways to join them together.

In English, we have enjoyed sharing and re-telling the myth of St. George and the Dragon. We also persisted with using our phonics to write our own dragon descriptions.

This week, we have really lived up to our Early Years Vision!
