We have learnt the minute hand is the long hand, and the hour hand is the shorter hand.

We used our clocks to find quarter past and quarter to. We learnt that when the minute hand points to the three, it is quarter past the hour.

When the minute hand points to 9, it is a quarter to the next hour.

We also learnt that there are 60 minutes in 1 hour, and the clocks have an interval of 5 minutes each time.
