On Thursday 19th May, we entered 2 mixed teams into the year Lewisham School Games tennis tournament. Children used their skills they have been learning in PE this half-term, to take onto the court in a competitive way.

All players played fantastically well and represented St George's tremendously, meeting our P.E vision:

Be passionate. Be respectful. Be determined. 

The tournament took part at the tennis courts at Ladywell Fields in a round-robin format. 

We look forward to our final competitions of the year next week - year 5/6 girls cricket and year 5/6 boys cricket.
