On Thursday 9th February 2023, KS2 went to Mayow Park to compete in our annual intra school football competition. All children were split into their 5 houses and competed in a 7 a side competition in a round-robin format. This was year 3's first intra school competition, and they all played fantastically! In every game, there was fantastic teamwork and determination to do well for their team as well as great respect at the end. This fits in with our PE values of: 

Be passionate. 

Be respectful. 

Be determined.

At the end of the round-robin, the top 2 teams went through into the final. The final was blue vs green which was 1-1 after full time, so it had to go to golden goal. This brought a great crowd and a fantastic atmosphere with a fantastic team goal for the winner!

With such great passion and respect shown, it was a fantastic tournament to start the year. Here are some pictures form the afternoon.
