In Year 6 this week, we carried on our R.E. topic of 'Liturgy'. Our focus this week was the prayer that takes place during liturgy and at other times. 

We started by looking at what a prayer was, what it looks like in Christian liturgy and then compared this to other religions. We then looked at the 4 main types of prayer: adoration, confession, thanksgiving and intercession. Following on from that, we looked at a current news story and wrote our own intercessional prayers. We finally reflected on what type of prayer we would write and why.
