On Tuesday 27th June 2023, St George's entered a full squad into the Lewisham School Games Kwik Cricket Competition. The tournament was held at Catford and Cyphers Cricket Club and saw school form all over Lewisham take part. The competition took a round-robin format, where all the schools played each other in their group. The winners of the groups then went on to the sem-finals. As always, the children representing St George's showed fantastic sportsmanship, which fits in with our vision of: 

Be passionate. 

Be respectful. 

Be determined.

Unfortunately, we just missed out on winning the group, but proud to win 3 out of the 4 matches! Well done to all the players! 

That now rounds off the ALPS competitions for the year. We look forward to our last school competitions; our first MAT Games Day for year 6 and to complete the year our whole school Games Day! We look forward to seeing you all there!
