In our art lessons, we have been looking at Beth Krommes's work, especially in a book titled 'Waves'. We have been using different techniques to make marks. In addition to using different tools to do so.

We listened to soft ocean music to give us some motivation and used crayons and colouring pencils to shade the background.

We then used a paintbrush and made different marks, such as dots, dashed, cross-hatching, stripling and scribbling.

We reinforced our art and design vision statement of:

Be proficient.

Be reflective.
