Illuminating Light!
Best Class have been investigating the bright world of light!
Our Science Curriculum Vision at St George's is:
Be academic.
Be curious.
Be practical.
In Best Class this half-term, we have moved onto the world of physics - light.
Being academic, we have started to look at what light is actually made of, how it travels and how light reflects.
Being practical, we have conducted a range of investigations to prove light travels in straight lines, how shadows are created and how light reflects at certain angles.
We have recently looked at splitting white light into the visible spectrum from the works of Sir Isaac Newton.
Here are some pictures of us investigating and our work from these.
