Fly me to...My Favourite Place!
This week, Year 3 have completed their Textiles and Collage Art Unit, combining our newly honed technical skills to make a beautiful class quilt inspired by Faith Ringgold!
This half term, Year 3 have been learning to create a dip-dye, a radial, a mandala and a collograph print. We have even practised some basic sewing skills to ultimately create a class quilt titled "Our Favourite Place", inspired by African-American author and quilt artist Faith Ringgold. We have shown focus, creativity and passion in our artwork, showing (as always) that we can:
