This week, Best Class have become authors of fantasy writing pieces. They started by looking at a fantasy story and unpicking all the key elements that made it other-worldly and exciting. 

We found that we needed to use our knowledge of history and mythical creatures to support us. We also found that we would need to have a good understanding of giving the reader explicit and implicit information to keep them interested. We have also looked at foreshadowing to create cohesion in our writing. 

We did this through the English Vision: 

Be a reader. 

Be a writer. 

Be a communicator.
