Our topic for Art this half term has been painting, and we have learnt many new painting techniques, like creating a background using a base, gradients, blocking and blending. We have been inspired by contemporary portrait artist Kehinde Wiley to use ourselves as a shadow profile with a vibrant background and British wildflowers symbolising growth and diversity. We are very proud of our finished creations. Come to enjoy them with us at the upcoming Celebration of Arts festival!
