Healthy Me.

Another busy week in the nursery!

Topic work has continued in Macmillan class with the children thinking about healthy living. Our topic book 'Oliver's Fruit Salad' was very popular, especially when we made delicious, nutritious, fruit salad for ourselves! The children loved naming and discussing their favourite fruits.

After all this wholesome food, the children painted their self-portraits (looking very fit and healthy) for our class gallery. The children looked at themselves very carefully in the mirror before starting to paint, to make sure their paintings were just right! We made sure we were wearing cosy Autumn outfits in our pictures.

We have also been busy monitoring the changing of the seasons and the children really enjoyed collecting the Autumn leaves as they fell and making some lovely leaf print pictures using appropriate Autumn colours.

The children in nursery have certainly been very busy living up to our Early Year's Vision:

Be an Explorer. Be a Trier. Be a Talker. Be a Creator.

Take a look below to see just how busy we have been.
