To complete a fantastic half term of sport, on Monday 21st October, our year 5/6 mixed basketball team took the trip to Bonus Pastor College, to take part in the annual School Games basketball competition. It was another successful trip for our St Georges athletes, as they showed great teamwork and determination to come top of their group, without losing a match. This is inline with our P.E curriculum vision statement:

Be passionate. 

Be respectful. 

Be determined.

The competition got stronger after the group stages and our team then got knocked out in the quater final stages. 

Well done to all the players for a great achievement.  We look forward to our next competitions after the holidays.
