This week, our school hall was transformed into a stage of festive joy as Years 2 to 6 came together for their much-anticipated nativity production!

True to our culture statement:

We are fun. We are together.

the event was a brilliant mix of creativity, teamwork, and Christmas cheer.

The show opened with a spectacular performance from our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils, who had the incredible opportunity to work with The Old Vic Theatre Company. Together, they brought to life a newly written production loosely inspired by A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Their storytelling, acting, and stage presence were absolutely captivating, earning rapturous applause from the audience.

The rest of the year groups filled the hall with festive spirit as they performed fun Christmas songs and retold the nativity story in their own creative ways. From charming narrators to enthusiastic singers, each child brought their own sparkle to the performance, reminding us all of the true meaning of Christmas.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the production so special—from the children for their dedication and hard work, to the parents for their support, and to The Old Vic for inspiring our older pupils to take their creativity to the next level.

As we watched the children shine on stage, it was a wonderful reminder of what makes our school community so unique. We are fun. We are together. And this nativity production was the perfect way to celebrate that!
