A Pig Tail!

This week in Kahlo Class, we have loved exploring the traditional tale The Three Little Pigs! 🐷

Our young learners have been bringing our Early Years vision to life:

Be an Explorer. Be a Trier. Be a Talker. Be a Creator.

through their storytelling, role play, and creativity.

In our role-play area, the children became the characters from the story, acting out the adventures of the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. They used fantastic expression and teamwork to bring the tale to life!

As triers, the children worked hard to write their own versions of The Three Little Pigs, using their phonics skills to retell the story in their own words. We were so proud of their enthusiasm and perseverance!

Our creative area was filled with busy hands as the children made pig masks and built houses using different materials, just like in the story. They explored which materials were the strongest and thought about what would happen if the wolf came to blow them down!

It has been a wonderful week of storytelling, creativity, and exploration. Well done, Kahlo Class—we can’t wait for another exciting week of learning!
