Super Science Fair!

Exciting Experiments at This Year’s Science Fair!

The annual Science Fair at St George's was a huge success once again, with pupils showcasing their fantastic scientific skills and creativity! This year's event featured a brilliant mix of experiments, investigations, and inventions, impressing teachers, parents, and fellow students alike.

Amongst the amazing entries was the explosive Elephant Toothpaste experiment, where pupils created a foamy eruption using a chemical reaction! The Refraction of Light display fascinated everyone as it demonstrated how light bends and changes direction when passing through different materials.

Another important project tackled real-world issues with a study on Polluting Problems in Our World, highlighting the effects of pollution and ways we can help protect our environment. The fun didn’t stop there – homemade Lava Lamps brought a colourful and mesmerising touch to the fair, while an exciting Catapult demonstration showed the power of physics and engineering in action!

The judges were incredibly impressed with the enthusiasm and hard work that went into each project. A huge well done to all our young scientists for their dedication and curiosity! We can’t wait to see what next year’s Science Fair will bring!

We did this all through our St George's Science Vision:

Be academic. Be curious. Be practical.
