The annual St George’s Intra-House Hockey Tournament was once again a spectacular event, bringing together students, teachers, and parents for a day of spirited competition. Held at the prestigious Dulwich College Sports Club, the tournament made full use of their excellent astro turf facilities, providing the perfect setting for an exciting day of school sport.

Aligned with the ethos of the School Games, the tournament emphasised teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development. The competition began with a round-robin format, allowing each house team to showcase their talent and determination. As the group stage concluded, the top four teams progressed to the semi-finals, setting the stage for an electrifying conclusion.

The semi-finals delivered high drama, with one match even culminating in a thrilling penalty shoot-out that had spectators on the edge of their seats. Parents lined the sidelines, offering fantastic support for all the players and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the day. The bright and sunny weather further added to the enjoyment, making it a perfect day for hockey.

In the grand final, Red House emerged victorious, demonstrating exceptional skill, resilience, and teamwork to claim the coveted title. Their triumph was a testament to St George’s P.E. values:
