The annual St George’s Year 5 & 6 Boys Intra-House Hockey Tournament delivered yet another thrilling showcase of skill, teamwork, and determination. Held at the outstanding Dulwich College Sports Club, the tournament benefited from the superb astro turf facilities, creating an ideal setting for a competitive and enjoyable day of school sport.

In line with the School Games initiative, the tournament followed a round-robin format, allowing all house teams to compete against each other before the top four progressed to the semi-finals. The competition was fierce, with every player demonstrating commitment and passion. Parents provided fantastic support from the sidelines, adding to the vibrant and encouraging atmosphere.

The semi-finals were packed with drama, including a nail-biting penalty that sent Blue House into the finals. The intensity carried through to the final, where Green House emerged victorious in the most dramatic fashion. In the very last second of the match, with the final touch of the game, Green House secured the winning goal, sparking scenes of celebration and excitement.

Every participant gave their all, showcasing excellent sportsmanship and a love for the game. The combination of fantastic weather, high-quality hockey, and unwavering determination made for an unforgettable day.
