Today's the day the teddy bears have a picnic!

Why did the teddy bear refuse the chocolate Easter egg?
Because he was already stuffed! 🐻🍫🥚😆

Children and teddies all had fun at today's Teddy Bear Picnic!

Year 2’s teddy bear picnic at the Horniman Museum was nothing short of magical—a well-earned reward for their brilliantly crafted formal invitations (complete with impeccable punctuation and just the right amount of charm!).

Mrs. Franklin-Smith and her two daughters RSVP’d without hesitation, joining us for a day of freshly made sandwiches, a thrilling egg hunt and enchanting storytelling. Laughter filled the air as teddies and children alike feasted and played, making memories sweeter than a chocolate bunny.

As we packed up, full of sandwiches and stories, we all agreed it was the perfect send-off to the Easter holidays—an event that truly embodied our English Vision Statement:

Be a reader.

Be a writer.

Be a communicator.
