Dear St George’s families,
As we reach the end of a busy and exciting term, it’s wonderful to reflect on all the fantastic moments we’ve shared. From the energy of our house hockey tournaments (read below to find out who took home the trophy!) to the impressive dance showcases in assembly, our pupils have truly shone.
The home learning exhibitions were a brilliant celebration of creativity and dedication, and our whole-school Easter service at the church was a special way to mark this important time—complete with a sweet treat from Father Richard! Our Year 2 pupils also had a delightful time at their teddy bears’ picnic, making special memories with their cuddly companions.
A huge thank you to all families who contributed to the Lent Call food bank donations—your generosity will make a real difference to those in need. We also appreciate everyone who brought in or purchased a treat at our cake sale on Thursday—a fantastic way to end the term on a sweet note!
Looking ahead, progress reports will be emailed to parents by the end of the first week back. We’re also excited to welcome everyone back for the start of the summer term, which fittingly falls on St George’s Day—an important occasion in our school community.
Wishing you all a restful and joyful Easter break.
Warm regards,
Mr Janes
