Dear St. George's families,
It has been a fantastic week back after the half-term break. It has been particularly special to be able to come together as a whole school once again for assemblies and lunchtimes, as we have now moved out of some of our covid safety measures.
Have a look at the news stories below to find out who the winners of School Council's raffle were. There were some great prizes won!
There are lots of events to look forward to this half-term. Our Year 5 and Year 6 residential is soon coming up. If your child is attending this, please look out for the parent meeting date so you know what to expect for those three adventure-packed days.
Lastly, Thursday next week is World Book Day. Mrs King, our reading lead, has designed some really fun activities for the day. We are inviting pupils to come to school dressed as a book character. Teachers will of course be joining in. Please give some real thought to the costumes. The best ones often cost very little money and are focussed on book characters. We can't wait to see the school dressed up, showing a love of reading for the day!
As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
