Dear St. George's families,
It was a great end to the term at St George's today. The school was awash with blue and yellow in support of the First News Ukraine Appeal. There were also lots of announcements of winners of our Lent Fundraising competitions in Celebration Assembly. We certainly are courageous advocates here, making a difference.
After the Easter break, we have some exciting learning to look forward to. St George's Day falls on a Saturday this year, but that will not stop us learning about St George in school and completing some collaborative artwork, organised by Ms Hall, our Art Lead.
While we are all thinking about having a restful break, we want to take the chance to remind you of one of the greatest pastimes to do with your child: read. Please take up every chance to read to and with your child. It is the biggest single thing you can do to help open doors for children and is especially important over longer holidays like Easter.
We wish you the very best of holidays, full of rest and fun, ready for learning after Easter.
