Dear St. George's families,
The staff at St George's were so very proud of our pupils today. To mark Remembrance Day, the whole school came together to be silent and remember the soldiers who have died in war. The silence was observed impeccably.
A special thank you goes to our Year 6 pupils, who read 'For The Fallen' to the school, and to Faith Team, who created the beautiful large scale poppies, which are now displayed in the hall and at the front of the school.
School Council have been busy organising events in their meetings with Ms MacAlpine this week. They have decided on a theme for this year's Children In Need Day, which can be seen on the poster below.
School Council have also prepared an assembly to kick-start Anti Bullying Week next week. Be sure to wear odd socks on Monday to celebrate difference as part of the Anti Bullying Alliance's initiative.
As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
