Dear St. George's families,
It was an absolute pleasure seeing the whole school celebrate their love of reading on World Book Day this week.
On top of the fabulous costumes, it was great having so many great conversations about reading and literature. We all loved Mrs Franklin-Smith reading Journey to the whole school. Check out next week's news article to see the fabulous retellings of the story each year group have composed in their writing sessions.
Checking the diary, you will see that it is British Science Week in a couple of week's time. Mr Bayne, our science lead, has set up some great activities for the week. We look forward to lots of practical science investigations taking place.
