Dear St. George's families,
We hope you enjoy the second Bank Holiday weekend of the month and get to spend quality time with your families.
We have had lots of fun this week, including holding our very own mock Coronation. The pupils loved hearing about the traditions and learning more about the event which they will probably be watching on television over the weekend.
This week serves as a reminder that we offer so many extra-curricular opportunities at St George's. We have had an evening trip to watch Frozen the Musical for our Year 5s; pupils participating in Lewisham Games competitions; and Year 4 pupils visiting the Science museum. We are so lucky to have dedicated staff who organise these events for our pupils. Check out the news stories below to see how much everyone has enjoyed the week.
Next week, our Year 6 pupils are participating in their SATS tests. This is a time for the children to showcase all that they have learned during their time at St George's. We are looking forward to the pupils doing their very best. We hope to see all pupils at the week's special Breakfast Club each morning!
As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Tuesday.
