Dear St. George's families,
At St George's, our culture statement is:
We are fun. We are together.
Thursday this week had plenty of evidence of how we live out that statement. The school was awash with colourful costumes and culture for Diversity Day and Diversity Evening. Check out the news stories below to remind yourself of the fun and learning that took place. A special thank you to everyone who attended Diversity Evening and provided food. We all left with full stomachs and a smile!
In the final two weeks of term, we begin to look forward to what is to come next year, with lots of talk and activities around transition. Next week, we will be welcoming the families of Reception pupils who will begin with us next September. Reception and Year One will also be visiting their new classrooms three times next week to help orientate themselves. Then, in the final week, all classes will have the opportunity to meet their new teacher for part of the morning on 'Meet the Teacher Morning'. Finally, our Year 6 pupils will have their Leavers' Ceremony, during which we will look back on ther time at St George's and wish them luck in the future.
Here's to a great final two weeks of term!
As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
