Dear St. George's families,
We are pleased to announce that our playground developments have now been completed. In the final weeks of term, we will be discussing how to remain safe on the new climbing equipment with the children. We then look forward to seeing the pupils using and enjoying our new play spaces. In the Easter holiday, the last remaining project will be completed. A sheltered area will be installed outside our Nursery and Reception classrooms, enabling year-round sheltered play.
Next week, we have plenty of opportunities for our community to live out our culture statement: We are fun. We are together.
We are looking forward to our community coming together to watch our Nativity performances. We also have our Christmas lunches and parties to look forward to, and there may even be a surprise visit from Santa! Our staff team are looking forward to putting up our Christmas decorations and children's artwork in our two halls in preparation.
A final reminder that each class will be holding their Home Learning Exhibition next week. This is a time when pupils can showcase the learning they have completed from our optional list of Curriculum Enrichment Home Learning Tasks. Check out our Home learning page here to remind yourselves of this term's tasks and see what your child may want to complete in time for our first ever Exhibition.
As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
